PSC Asks for Your Input on Wisconsin Broadband Survey

The State of Wisconsin’s Public Service Commission (PSCW) is seeking public input regarding the need for broadband service. The purpose of the PSCW’s Broadband Customer Survey is part of a larger effort to deploy broadband in Wisconsin and ultimately throughout the entire nation. The federal American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) includes up to $7.2 billion for broadband improvement loans and grants to map and deploy broadband, especially to unserved and underserved areas.

By completing the short survey, you can help to identify areas where the need for broadband exists, and in so doing, help yourself get adequate broadband sooner. Federal officials are expected to use this information to decide where the needs for improving broadband through federal funding are the greatest.
