No Family Left Inside! Discover the Beauty of Door County Nature by Night, Mar 12

The Ridges Sanctuary is collaborating with the Northern Door YMCA to encourage families to re-connect with the outdoors.

Who goes there?

Have you ever explored the outdoors at night? Too scary? On this hike, you’ll discover that night explorations can be great fun and not at all frightening. We’ll learn about nighttime animals and their adaptations, call owls and finish with a bonfire and s’mores. Bring a small flashlight (put red cellophane over the lens so you don’t affect your night vision) if you’d like.

On the second weekend of the month – Friday, March 12 and again on April 17 from 7 – 8:30 pm, you are invited to explore the Ridges Sanctuary, 8288 Hwy Q, in Baileys Harbor. The programs are limited to 15 families. Register by calling the YMCA at 868-3660. The cost is $10 per family.
