Old-Fashioned Holiday Carol & Hymn Sing in Egg Harbor At Calvary United Methodist Church, Nov 28

On Thanksgiving weekend Saturday, November 28, Calvary United Methodist Church in Egg Harbor will host an old-fashioned Holiday Carol & Hymn Sing at 2 pm.

Former Methodist minister Rev. Don Heeringa will lead the hearty sing. He’s a familiar face at many sing-alongs throughout Door County and is sure to be a crowd pleaser, as residents and visitors alike will have their first chance to sing “Silent Night” and other standard Christmas carols and hymns.

Calvary United Methodist Church will already be decorated for the Christmas holiday as part of the Northern Door Children’s Center’s annual Holiday Home Tour (no ticket is required for this stop on the tour). An added feature at Calvary Church will be tables full of cookies available for purchase, with some of Northern Door’s most fabled bakers generously donating the holiday treats.

As part of the Holiday Home Tour, the church will also be open on Friday, November 27, from 4 pm to 8 pm, and Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm. The church is located at 5650 County E in Egg Harbor.

Call Northern Door Children’s Center at 854-4244 for more information about the Thanksgiving weekend Holiday Home Tour fundraiser for the Center and Gibraltar area schools. Entry to the church is free; $20 tickets for the other five stops on the Tour can be purchased at the church, the Children’s Center, and participating merchants.
