Jacksonport’s Art on the Quiet Side Invites Exhibiting Artists to Sign on

For many years, “Art on the Quiet Side” has been held  on the weekend closest to July 4th at Lakeside Park in Jacksonport. This year the Jacksonport Firefighter’s Association and the Jacksonport Area Business Association will continue the tradition taking up the official management role for this ever-popular event.

Many of the artists that have been part of the show over the years have been contacted. There are several who have moved and have been difficult to track down. If you have been part of this fine Arts Show in the past and wish to participate this year or are new to the area and wish to enter please call Tom Ash, Jacksonport Fire Chief, at 920.823.2621.
Art on the Quiet Side will be held at Lakeside Park in downtown Jacksonport on Saturday and Sunday, July 3rd and 4th from 9 am to 4 pm. Food will be served by Birnschein Custom Meats. On Saturday, music of the Andes  will be provided by the Ecuadorian band, Inkapirka. The show will run from 9 am to 4 pm. All proceeds will benefit the Jacksonport Firefighter’s Association, a non-profit organization, which is pleased to sponsor Art on the Quiet Side.
