After returning from the Middle East, she began to pursue her dream of building a business in Door County. She is committed to delivering quality services and actively explores the science and techniques specific to her specialty. Jessica has traveled to Bali, India; and most recently, the West coast, where she became proficient in the art of Ashiatsu Oriental Foot Massage.

Manuel Cifre descended from four generations of bakers, naming his Door County operation Lola’s in honor of his mother, who passed away in 2007.
He began working as a teenager at his parent’s bakery, “La Rosa,” for 26 years. Then started his own bakery, “La Dolce Vida,” in New York City which he operated for 11 years before moving to Madison, where he lived and worked for 18 years, baking at Stella’s. He has a lifetime of experience, readily apparent the first time you stop in at Lola’s in Sturgeon Bay. His custom wedding cakes and sweet table dessert treats are sure to delight.
