A mile of sand beach, flower gardens, and a towering pine forest offer many options for a picturesque ceremony setting and gorgeous wedding photo opportunities.
Elizabeth Borsodi has provided music of the harp at more than one hundred weddings. She is married to wedding officiant and Administrative Law Judge Gary Wolkstein. Together they help couples create meaningful ceremonies both traditional and non-traditional at their wedding venue, Music of the Lake. In case of rain, an inside space by one of the Lake Michigan stone fireplaces will accommodate smaller weddings.
Various Door County parks may be reserved (but not closed to the public) for weddings, reunions, birthdays, private and company picnics.
Some, like Cave Point, have structures and areas suitable for staging a wedding. You may make a reservation to use them for a specific date. Once on the Door County Parks website, click on Reservations of Parks, Shelters/Facilities or call or email the Door County Parks Department. All reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis and are nonrefundable.
The fee for use of the Gazebo at Cave Point is $75 per day.
