As the new owner of the Hillside, it is Diane Taillon‘s primary focus to find new and creative ways to open this classic inn to tourists and residents alike as a true boutique hotel. The Inn features five beautiful suites (four with water views) plus two cottages with fireplaces and elegant bathrooms. The luxurious Hillside Inn of Ephraim, located in the heart of one of Door County’s most picturesque villages, reopened in January, 2016 after a complete renovation. The Inn is one of the most iconic buildings in Ephraim and Door County, making it the centerpiece of almost every photo taken of the Ephraim village landscape. The restored historical inn is listed on the National Register of Historic Places with all the amenities of a luxury hotel and was one of the first hotels ever in Ephraim.
