Stella Huff, director of Feed & Clothe My People, says the money is being used to purchase food from area stores for persons in need.

“I think the Home Builders are wonderful for thinking of another program – especially since they are a nonprofit organization themselves,” she explains. “It is a nice amount of money, and we enjoyed ourselves at the event.”

About 300 people attended the March 26-27 Expo event, which was about the same number of people who attended last year. Two of those people won door prizes. Cynthia Crock, of Baileys Harbor, won an outdoor frog water fountain donated by WaterScape Designs, Forestville; and Roger Kerscher, of Sturgeon Bay, won a concrete coffee table, crafted and donated by Dylan Lauger of Lauger Concrete, Sturgeon Bay.
